Not the best Primal Ascension deck, but I was able to pretty consistently win against him with this. I usually play Roland in top-left if I go first to bait out other cards (like Gaius in top-middle), then usually Ifrit in the middle to counter. This leaves Ifrit expose on the right, but only Bahamut I think can effectively attack there, and depending on the board later I'd use Ramuh to take Ifrit back from below.
