Description
After learning that gold whisker dolls were popular in the Near East as talismans of good luck, this enterprising Namazu departed for Radz–at–Han to indulge in a life of idle idolatry. He dyed his skin a gleaming metal hue, proclaimed himself the “Great Gold Whisker,” and succeeded in installing himself as the blessed kami guardian of a treasure vault.
